Soy for menopause, help to relieve menopause symptoms.

She knew something was wrong with her. This has never happened before in the last 20 years she is married to him. This day was so special to her that she had always surprised him with gifts and parties. When Emma forgot her husband’s birthday this year she decided to consult a doctor. Her doctor told her that this is a symptom of menopause.

How does one get rid of menopausal blues? There is no remedy for menopause as this is not a sickness or handicap. Menopause is a natural aging process. The symptoms of menopause start occurring 2 or 3 years before the cycle begins. Lack of sleep, night sweats, less libido, irritation, hot flushes, memory loss, depression and osteoporosis are all part of it. Doctors recommend hormone therapy for menopausal discomfort. Though it reduces the stress considerably there are side effects for hormone therapy. So women prefer herbal remedies and natural remedies for the distress caused by menopause. Soy is one of the natural remedial products for menopause problems. Australian researchers feel that soy reduces the stress caused during menopause by building up the estrogen level in the body.

Soy products such as tofu, miso, soy milk, roasted soy beans, soy burgers, soy cheese, soy bologna, soy pastrami, tempeh can help reduce menopause distress. They are helpful because they contain phytoestrogens.

These phytoestrogens have none of the harmful qualities of hormone therapy. In fact, the incidence of breast cancer and hot flushes and other menopause symptoms is very low in Asian countries where soy is the basis of their diet. Phytoestrogens can also reduce heart disease, hot flashes, painful intercourse and vaginal dryness. Phytoestrogens can also strengthen the bone.

Eating a few slices of soy cheese and a boca burger or two every day is all you need to begin with to rebuild bone, reduce hot flushes and strengthen vaginal tissue. Soy milk is also good and readily available. Soy products also contain high levels of calcium, a must for women who care about their bones. Use of soy can prevent breast cancer in women. Soy contains natural isoflavons that reduces hot flushes during menopause.

Lastly the solution lies in managing each symptom effectively, by increasing your intake of phytoestrogen and calcium, and also including yoga or exercise in your schedule, making regular visits to your gynecologist and making a point to laugh off your aches!

There are various soy and herbal supplements available today, the one I recommend is Menozac, contains Vitamin E, Soy seed, Black Cohosh root and Damaiana leaf, it may really help you, try it out.
